Most practitioners stay on one bank of the river. Yulia carries both — the felt sense of deep, energetic work, and the anatomy that explains every bit of it. Fourteen years on, still in love with it.
The story
It started as a vacation. It became a method.
Yulia went to Thailand, fell for Thai bodywork, and trained in Chiang Mai — including with Pichet, the teacher every serious Thai practitioner knows. To practise legally in the States she needed a massage license, so in 2011 she enrolled at Brian’s school in Seattle for myofascial anatomy.
She went in for the paperwork and came out changed. The magic of Thai massage was suddenly explained in anatomical terms — “the magic became mechanism.” With Brian she built her signature: the stretch and flow of Thai work brought onto the table, so therapists deliver it without crawling the floor, and without wrecking their own bodies.

Why she teaches

Her drive is simple: to share it, and to ignite in other therapists a passion for anatomy and a way of working that doesn’t break them. Massage doesn’t have to be boring or hard — it should be exciting. Work from structure instead of force, and the body lasts while the energy in the room goes up for everyone.
